Christian Davenport is a Professor of Peace Studies, Political Science and Sociology at the Kroc Institute – University of Notre Dame as well as Director of the Radical Information Project (RIP) and Stop Our States (SOS). Primary research interests include political conflict (e.g., human rights violations, genocide/politicide, torture, political surveillance/covert repressive action, civil war and social movements), measurement, and racism. Prof. Davenport is the author of numerous books and articles. He is currently engaged in various projects concerning state-challenger interactions in the United States, Rwanda, India and Northern Ireland. I think we probably will end up in America because he would be giving up much more to come and live here. If you want to work in film, that’s really where you have to be. But I’m not sure that being an ex-pat is very good for one’s sense of self.
